The IPL contracted players in Manchester are joining their respective franchises after fifth Test between India and England got cancelled.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli and rising star Mohammed Siraj have joined the franchise in UAE ahead of the second leg of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Both the cricketers took a chartered flight from Manchester, United Kingdom to reach Dubai.
The decision was taken after the last Test match got called off due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the Indian camp. The franchise posted pictures of Kohli and Siraj in a tweet and shared the good news with the fans.

"The news you’ve all been waiting for: King Kohli and Miyan Magic have joined the team in Dubai. ???? Bring on #IPL2021. ????????," wrote RCB on Twitter.
The Indian cricketers, contracted to play the IPL for the different franchises, left for the UAE in chartered and commercial flights after returning negative RT-PCR tests twice in two days at the United Kingdom.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma of Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals' captain Rishabh Pant, and Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also joined their franchises. Even England's Moeen Ali has landed in Dubai along with his IPL teammates Jadeja, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Shardul Thakur.
All players arriving from Manchester will undergo a six-day quarantine in their hotel rooms before joining the bio-bubbles of their respective teams.
