Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have signed Sri Lankan's leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga, fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera and Singapore's Tim David for the second phase of IPL 2021.

New Zealand's Finn Allen and Scott Kuggeleijn will be playing against Bangladesh while Adam Zampa, Daniel Sams, and Kane Richardson are unavailable for the remaining matches of IPL 2021, which made RCB include the three new overseas players.

Hasaranga was impressive with his bowling against India in the recently concluded limited-overs series in Sri Lanka. Bangalore fans are happy with the new signings and they expect a better finish of the tournament.

RCB are currently at third in the points table with 5 wins in 7 matches. They will need three more wins in the second leg of the tournament to qualify for playoffs.

Last season, RCB had started off well but they last their last five matches of the tournament consecutively. The Virat Kohli-led team had qualified for playoffs but lost in the Eliminator match.

Fans are hoping for a better outing than the last season and end the trophy drought of RCB for the last 13 years.
