CSK batsman Suresh Raina had not played the IPL 2020 in United Arab Emirates.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Suresh Raina traveled with the franchise to Dubai ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). The second phase of the tournament will be played in UAE and CSK are scheduled to play the opening match against Mumbai Indians on September 19.
Raina posted a video on his Instagram account which captured the beautiful view from his room's balcony. Last year, he had joined the franchise in UAE for the tournament, but the CSK batsman returned home due to personal reasons.
There were reports that Raina wasn't happy with the room allotted to him which had no balcony. However, there were no confirmation from either the franchise or the cricketer himself.
Here is the video posted by Raina:
Raina has played all seven matches of CSK in IPL 2021 till now. He scored 123 runs with a strike rate of 126.80 which included a half-century.
CSK are currently at number 2 in the points table and they have won 5 matches out of 7. They would need at least three more wins in the second half of the tournament to ensure a place in the top four.
Last season, Super Kings had missed out on a spot for play-offs after winning only six matches in the tournament. They had finished second last in the points table.
