Australian players can't fly back home until the travel ban in their country is lifted.
Australian cricketers are left stranded after the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) got postponed by BCCI due to multiple COVID-19 cases in the bio-bubble. The Aussies can't fly back to their country like other foreign players because of the travel ban by the Australian government.
The players are flying to Sri Lanka or the Maldives before taking a chartered flight home once the ban is lifted. As per reports, there is a group of 38 players, coaches, and staff members.
