Amid reports of Australian players looking to leave IPL 2021 midway, a Cricket Australia source has confirmed the players' want to stay till the end.

The second wave of COVID-19 has made a number of players, including R Ashwin and Australian players Adam Zampa, Kane Richardson, and Andrew Tye, leave IPL 14 mid-way.

With Australian players opting out of the tournament and with Prime Minister Scott Morrison announcing a ban on passenger flights from India till May 15, there were some rumors that other players like David Warner, Steve Smith, and other Aussie participants are looking to leave India before a flight ban is enforced by their government.

Addressing the same, a source close to Cricket Australia brushed off the rumors and said that the players are intending to remain until the end of the tournament.

"The players are intending to remain until the end of the tournament unless something changes dramatically. The media reports citing otherwise are incorrect," a source close to CA told ANI.

Earlier, on Monday (26th April) pacer Pat Cummins donated $ 50,000 to aid India’s fight against Covid-19. He made a donation to the PM-Cares Fund for the purchase of oxygen supplies for Indian hospitals.
