IPL 2021: WATCH- Shikhar Dhawan urges COVID-19 survivors to donate their blood plasma

People who have recovered from COVID-19 have a superpower to save someone's life, said Dhawan in a video.

The Delhi Capitals (DC) opener Shikhar Dhawan who has scored the most runs in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) so far had appealed to all COVID-19 survivors to come forward and donate their plasma to save someone’s life.

While talking in a short video posted by DC, Dhawan said, “The whole country is reeling under Covid-19 and people are doing their best to save their near and dear ones. They are running from pillar to post and approaching hospitals and blood banks. But you (COVID-19 survivors) have a superpower with which you can save lives.

As the country is in facing a spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, DC also tweeted a poster saying, “Project Plasma, let’s save every life. You are a superhero if you have recovered from Covid-19 because you have the power to save life.

After beating the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI), the Delhi-based franchise will be in action as they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
