Suresh Raina is the second most runs getter in IPL after Virat Kohli.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain became the first player in IPL history to complete 6000 runs. He completed the feat in his 196th match on Thursday (April 22) against Rajasthan Royals (RR).
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Suresh Raina, who is the second-highest scorer in IPL with 5448 runs in 197 matches, congratulated Kohli for the achievement.
"This is HUGE, meet the first-ever player to reach 6000 runs in IPL @imVkohli It was a delight to watch, more power to you," he wrote.
"Wishing you many more success in life! #RCBvRR #IPL2021," Raina added further in the post.
After Kohli and Raina, Shikhar Dhawan (5,428) is at number three in the list of most run-getters, followed by David Warner (5,384) and Rohit Sharma (5,368).
