MS Dhoni parents were admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) head coach Stephen Fleming after their IPL 2021 match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) gave a health update about MS Dhoni’s parents, who were diagnosed with COVID-19, and said that their skipper has full support from the management.
Ahead of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) IPL 14 encounter against KKR, it was reported that MS Dhoni’s parents Pan Singh and Devaki Devi have both been tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to Pulse Superspeciality Hospital in Ranchi.
Talking about the same CSK head coach Stephen Fleming while giving an update about MS Dhoni’s parents said that the situation is under control now
"From a management point of view, we are well aware of his family's situation. And the support is set up for MS and his family. Talking with MS, the situation is under control for now but we'll monitor it in the next few days. It's a tough time for everybody," Stephen Fleming said in a virtual press conference.

Fleming further said that MS Dhoni has all support of the management he needs and they hope that his family recovers quickly.
"It's (Covid-19) affecting India the way it is and it is reaching IPL with friends and family and hopefully not to the bubbles. We spent quite a bit of time talking about the care of friends and families in the wider group. We have that responsibility that MS has the support that he needs. We hope that his family recovers quickly," he said.
According to an update provided by the hospital on Wednesday (21st April), the oxygen levels of Dhoni's parents are stable.
CSK on the other hand defeated KKR by 18 runs at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. With this victory over KKR, MS Dhoni-led side is now placed at the top of the points table.
They will next face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 25th April at Mumbai.
