IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) posted a GIF of their star batsman Jos Buttler urging people to stay at home amid the second wave of COVID-19 in India.

The second wave of coronavirus is witnessing a precipitous rise of cases across India and several states have imposed curfews and other restrictions as they try to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

"Virus is right at my doorstep, it will be at yours tomorrow," R Ashwin urges people to stay safe

Addressing the same Sanju Samson-led franchise while taking to their Twitter handle posted a GIF of wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler.

In the GIF, Buttler can be seen joining his hands and urging people to stay at home.

“Jos wants to say something,” Rajasthan Royals captioned the GIF.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) had a mixed IPL 2021 campaign so far. They lost against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their first match of the tournament and then later made a strong comeback, defeating Delhi Capitals (DC) by three wickets in a nail-bitter.

However in both the matches Jos Buttler failed to set the stage on fire, registering scores of 25 and 2 runs against PBKS and DC respectively.

The Rajasthan-based franchise will next face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 19th April at Mumbai. They would be hoping that star English batsman Jos Buttler to fire as he would be vital to their chances going ahead into the tournament.
