Delhi Capitals (DC) announced that their South African pacer Anrich Nortje was out of quarantine after a false positive for COVID-19 recently. Nortje and Kagiso Rabada had arrived in India after playing against Pakistan at home and tested negative for the virus during their mandatory 7-day quarantine.

However, while Rabada passed his three COVID tests, with negative results, Nortje tested positive for the virus and had to be isolated as per BCCI SOPs. Now, DC revealed that the result was a false positive and that he had returned three negative RT-PCR tests.
