Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli was furious after getting out against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Wednesday (April 14). He took 29 balls to score 33 runs with a strike rate of 113.79 before getting out to Jason Holder.

The 32-year-old has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct and he has accepted it.

"Kohli admitted to the Level 1 offense 2.2 of the IPL's Code of Conduct. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding," said the IPL in a statement.

Vengalil Narayan Kutty was the match referee for RCB and SRH's face-off, while Nitin Menon and Ulhas Gandhe were the on-field umpires.

Kohli had top-edged a short ball from Holder to be caught in the deep by Vijay Shankar. The RCB skipper couldn't control his anger and he ended up smashing a chair with a bat while walking back to the dugout.
