IPL 2021: WATCH- Umesh Yadav takes a blinder diving catch to dismiss Ajinkya Rahane in DC practice match

Umesh Yadav's stunning one-handed diving catch sent back Ajinkya Rahane.

Umesh Yadav was bought by the Delhi Capitals (DC) franchise in the IPL 2021, marking his return to the team where he made his IPL debut. However, he didn’t play in the first match against CSK in Mumbai with Avesh Khan being preferred over him.

However, during a Delhi Capitals (DC) intra-squad practice match the 33-year-old fast bowler from Nagpur showed why he is still one of the fittest and athletic bowlers around.

In a video posted by the DC franchise on Twitter, Umesh Yadav was seen bowling to Ajinkya Rahane. Rahane tried to play the ball on the on-side but got a leading edge which was going past Yadav in his bowling stride.  

Yadav in his follow-through dived full length to catch the ball mid-air one-handed and completed an amazing catch to send back Rahane.

Delhi Capitals (DC) will next play the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 15 in the 7^th match of the IPL 2021 at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
