Rajasthan Royals (RR) lost their IPL 2021 opener against Punjab Kings (PBKS) which ended dramatically. Punjab won the cliffhanger by four runs on the last ball of the match.
RR captain Sanju Samson looked set to finish the match with 13 needed off the last over. The game took a turn when Samson sent back Chris Morris, who was looking for a run, off the second last delivery.
Morris was shocked with the decision and he gave a priceless reaction which is going viral on social media.
Rajasthan needed five runs off the last two deliveries but Samson still didn't go for the run and backed himself to hit a boundary on the last ball. He, unfortunately, failed to finish the match and got caught on the last delivery of Arsheep Singh's over.
Samson scored 119 runs but the result didn't do justice to his superb knock. Rajasthan will next play against Delhi Capitals on April 15 at the same venue, Wankhede Stadium.
