Punjab Kings will be playing their first match of the tournament against Rajasthan Royals on April 12.
Punjab Kings' (PBKS) explosive batsman Chris Gayle is ready to take on the bowlers as IPL 2021 kicks off on Friday (April 9). He danced on Daler Mehndi's superhit song 'Tunak Tunak Tun' during a shoot for the franchise.
PBKS shared the video on Twitter in which Gayle is shaking a leg and beating a dhol which quite suits his jolly character. "Opening day of the #IPL2021 and Boss is ready to perform ????," they wrote.

Punjab Kings would hope for the 41-year-old to come good with the bat once again. Last season, he was ignored for the first half of the season and got to play only the last seven matches. The southpaw had scored 288 runs in 7 games with a strike rate of 137.14.
The Punjab-based franchise will have to wait a few days before they play their first match of the tournament. They are going to face Rajasthan Royals on April 12 at the Wankhede Stadium.
Their preparation is going in full flow and Gayle was even seen bowling off-spin in the nets. We have seen him bowling a few times in the IPL, but it looked like he was rolling his arms for fun.
