IPL 2021: WATCH - "Someone is not hitting" Rishabh Pant mocks Sam Billings as he is troubled by spin

Rishabh Pant couldn't help himself from trolling Billings as he fended off some vicious spin deliveries.

Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant has become the favorite of commentators and broadcasters due to his constant banter from behind the stumps during matches. Pant was infamously involved in banter with Tim Paine during the 2018-19 India tour of Australia, resulting in the ‘baby-sitter’ jibe.

He currently was involved in numerous banter against England players during the four-Test series at home, even getting India a wicket by trolling the batsmen into hitting a false shot.

He was named the DC captain after Shreyas Iyer got hurt and was ruled out of the IPL 2021 due to his shoulder surgery. However, it seems the responsibility of captaincy has not mellowed his spirit of trolling batsmen from behind the stumps.

IPL 2021: WATCH - "He's here with a sense of purpose," Rishabh Pant shows intense hitting in the nets

This was evident from a video shared by Delhi Capitals on their Twitter account, in which Pant was keeping wickets and England’s Sam Billings was batting in nets. Seemingly Billings had problems against the spin and Pant couldn’t resist himself from mocking the batsman.

As Billings failed to counter a spinning delivery from a bowler, Pant was heard saying, “Welcome to India."  He further said the spin was not as bad as it was in the Test series where the ball turned square.

Furthermore, he trolled Billings after he was still having trouble by praising the bowler and saying “Bowled. someone is not hitting”.

Delhi Capitals will face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their first match on April 10 in Mumbai.
