The Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell, who is known for his big-hitting abilities in T20 cricket, is getting ready to stamp his name in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2021).

Apart from the 2014 edition of the tournament, where Maxwell scored 552 runs in 16 matches at a strike rate of 187.75 for Kings XI Punjab, now called Punjab Kings, his return to IPL has been quite disappointing.

But this didn’t stop the Bangalore-based franchise from getting him for a whopping Rs 14.25 crore after a bidding war with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
