Jadeja joined the CSK camp last Friday (March 26) in Mumbai and he has now served the mandatory 7-day quarantine period.

On April 2, Jadeja took to Twitter and cherished his collaboration with CSK skipper MS Dhoni ahead of the campaign.

He shared some pictures with Dhoni in CSK’s new jersey with the caption: “Whenever i meet him it feels like i m meeting him for the first time!Still Same excitement when i met him in 2009.#bonding #respectforever”.

Ravindra Jadeja was ruled out of the action because of a fractured thumb on the Australia tour in the third Test. He couldn't play for India since then and had to miss out on four Tests against England and also the limited-overs series.

IPL 2021 is due to begin on April 9, with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament opener at Chepauk.

Chennai Super Kings will open their campaign against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 10.
