Dinesh Karthik, the former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain, is one of the most serious looking people both on and off the field, but recently, he has shown his funny side as well, especially on social media and in his interactions with the Pandya brothers- Krunal and Hardik.

Their Instagram live chats during the 2020 coronavirus lockdown were hilarious to watch as Dinesh Karthik trolled Hardik Pandya mercilessly, leaving Krunal and people watching the chat rolling on the floor with laughter.

He has been looking forward to the IPL 2021 season, which provides him with an opportunity to stake a claim in India’s T20I team for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 to be played in India later this year.

Meanwhile, this time on Karthik’s target of trolling was his KKR teammate Rahul Tripathi. Dinesh shared a photo of himself talking with Sunil Narine of West Indies but instead poked fun at Rahul Tripathi, who was in the background, laying on the field and doing some stretching.

To take a dig on Tripathi, Karthik used a famous dialogue of Bollywood movie Hera Pheri featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal in title roles. The movie which came out in the year 2000, completes its 21 years today on March 31.

Karthik paid tribute to one of the genuinely funny and all-time greatest comedies by captioning his post, “Utha le baba utha le, mereko nai re...piche Rahul ko utha le!”

If this was not enough, KKR’s official Twitter handle added some more laughter to it, by posting a meme from the same movie, which has the continuing dialogue from what Karthik posted.
