Rishabh Pant will be leading the Delhi Capitals franchise in the absence of Shreyas Iyer.
Delhi Capitals' (DC) newly appointed captain Rishabh Pant is not missing on a single day to prepare for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Pant shared a video of his workout session on Instagram and said he has no rest days.
Pant, who has new responsibility in the IPL 2021, can be seen working on his body with Strength & Conditioning Coach of Delhi Capitals, Rajinikanth Sivagnanam. "No rest days as I reset, charge up and get back in the groove for the new @iplt20 season," he wrote in the caption.
The 23-year-old is joining the franchise after a successful outing with the bat against England in the recently concluded ODI series. He smashed two consecutive half-centuries in the last two matches.

All eyes will be on Pant this season as he will be leading Delhi Capitals. The southpaw had said it was his dream to captain the side. "Delhi is where I grew up, and where my IPL journey began six years ago.

I am truly grateful, especially to our team owners, who considered me capable enough for this role. With an amazing coaching staff, and a plethora of accomplished seniors around me, I can't wait to give my absolute best for Delhi Capitals," he said.
