Fans and experts might consider him a Test specialist but Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Cheteshwar Pujara seems to be in full control of his game as the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) draws closer.

The same was evident in a clip shared by a fan on Twitter, where Pujara can be seen displaying a range of strokes with new batting stance.

In the video, Pujara, who can be seen batting with a higher backlift, smashes pacer Deepak Chahar over deep mid-wicket before slog sweeping Karn Sharma in the same region.

Pujara is also seen dancing down the track to lift the ball over the long-on boundary. In his final shot of the video, the veteran campaigner hits the ball over extra cover and holds the pose.

Cheteshwar Pujara last played IPL in the 2014 season for Punjab Kings (then Kings XI Punjab). He was overlooked by franchises over the years but CSK bought him at the auction last month for INR 50 lakh.

Apart from Pujara, CSK also roped in the likes of Moeen Ali, Krishnappa Gowtham, Harishankar Reddy, among others at the IPL 2021 auction.

IPL 2021 is due to begin on April 9, with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament opener at Chepauk.

Super Kings will open their campaign against Delhi Capitals on April 10 in Mumbai.
