RCB will kickstart their IPL 14 campaign against MI on April 9.
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) new recruit Dan Christian is very excited to re-join the franchise and also eager to play alongside world-class batters Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the upcoming 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2012 starting April 9.
The Australian all-rounder is all set for his second stint with the RCB led by Kohli having played three games for the franchise in IPL 2013 after being picked by the Bangalore-based outfit at the IPL 2021 Auction for INR 4.8 crore for the upcoming season.

Ahead of the IPL 14, Christian said it will be fantastic to share the RCB dressing room with Kohli, De Villiers, and his Aussie teammate Glenn Maxwell and play with them in the T20 tournament.
Christian said in an Instagram Live session: “It will be brilliant to bat with Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers on the other end, throw Glenn Maxwell in there as well, a good mate of mine from home in Australia; we have played good cricket together.”
He further added, “To be playing or just be sharing the dressing room with those guys will be fantastic, and I’m really looking forward to it, and hopefully, we go really well as a team.”
Meanwhile, the RCB had a fairly good campaign last year, as the franchise made it to the play-offs but knocked out by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator in the IPL 2020.
However, the 37-year-old, who has been a serial winner, collecting nine T20 titles across the globe, believes that RCB will win the IPL 2021 title this year and he hopes to help the team in their mission.
The Australian is already a winner and he has already played 40 games in the IPL, scoring 446 runs at a strike rate of 119.2, and has picked up 34 wickets at an economy of 7.94 so far. He has represented the Deccan Chargers, Rising Pune Supergiants, and Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in the T20 league.
Christian signed off by saying, “We’re going to win it this year; as a team, we are probably due to winning one, and hopefully, I can help to get over the line.”
