Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirms swashbuckling all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s No Objection Certificate (NOC) to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
Shakib Al Hasan’s participation in IPL 14 has been in talks over the last few days. Recently the left-handed all-rounder stated that BCB misinterpreted his letter for prioritizing the IPL at the cost of the Test series against Sri Lanka.

Later BCB Cricket Operation chairman Akram Khan didn’t seem happy with the decision and threatened to reconsider NOC given to Shakib, after a public fallout between the two parties.
However, on Friday BCB Director Ismail Haider confirmed the same and said that “NOC will remain as it is and he can go and take part in IPL,” Ismail Haider said.
The swashbuckling all-rounder's NOC is valid up to May 18, and he is expected to return for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting May 20.
Shakib Al Hasan is expected to leave the country on March 28 to join his KKR teammates and will have to complete a seven-day quarantine before being available for training.
The 34-years-old has played 63 IPL matches and has scored 746 runs to go with 59 wickets with the ball.
