Chennai Super Kings had started preparation for the Indian Premier League 2021 at Chepauk.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are set to shift their training base from Chennai to Mumbai ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
IPL 2021 is starting on April 9 and CSK will play their first match on April 10 against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Wankhede Stadium.
CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan, speaking to InsideSport, informed that the team is scheduled to leave for Mumbai by March 26. Super Kings started their camp in Chennai on March 9.
"We will definitely shift now. We are scheduled to leave for Mumbai by March 26,” CSK CEO said.
The camp at Chepauk was joined by the CSK skipper MS Dhoni, veteran batsman Ambati Rayudu, rising star Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sai Kishore, Narayan Jagadeeshan, and few other talented cricketers.

Suresh Raina will soon be reuniting with the CSK squad after missing out last season. He will join the camp directly in Mumbai, confirmed CSK CEO.
“We will be living at the Trident Hotel. He will join us directly in Mumbai on 26th,” he said.
Raina waited for his son Rio's birthday before joining the CSK camp. He was practicing at Ghaziabad and had shared a clip from the batting session.
The 34-year-old will undergo mandatory seven-day quarantine after joining the team at Trident Hotel, as per the BCCI COVID-19 SOPs.
