Stoinis and Dhawan added 86 runs in first 8 overs for DC.
DC sent in Marcus Stoinis to open with Shikhar Dhawan and together they added 86 runs in 8 overs before Stoinis fell for 38 in 27 balls with 5 fours and 1 six. Captain Iyer struggled for 21 runs, but it was the partnership between Dhawan and Hetmyer that set DC up for a good total.
While Hetmyer remained unbeaten on 42 in 22 balls with 4 fours and 1 six, Dhawan scored his 4th fifty in IPL 2020 and was dismissed for 78 in 50 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes. The duo added 52 runs in 5 odd overs, taking DC to 189/3 in 20 overs.

For SRH, it was a poor day in the field with multiple drop catches and misfields. Rashid Khan (1/26), Sandeep Sharma (1/30), and Jason Holder picked a wicket as well but went for 50 runs.
The Cricket fraternity was applauding a brilliant knock from Dhawan who is having his best IPL thus far, going past IPL 2012 when he made 569 runs.
