Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) captain Eoin Morgan has shared an emotional post and expressed his gratitude to the KKR’s “loyal fans” for their support after his team’s elimination from the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 in the UAE.

KKR didn’t have a great start earlier this season, had only a chance to progress to the IPL 13 playoffs only if Mumbai Indians beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last league stage game on Tuesday.

However, SRH managed to produce a magnificent show against the defending champions, thrashing MI by 10 wickets earlier this week to qualify for the playoffs of the IPL 2020, which meant the two-time IPL champions, unfortunately, had to pack their bags in the UAE.

Following the team’s exit from the ongoing IPL 2020, Morgan shared an encouraging yet positive message for his KKR fans while thanking their supporter for their love and support throughout the season. He also vowed to come back stronger in the next IPL 2021 which is five months away from now.

England’s 2019 World Cup-winning captain also shared a picture of him with the KKR team on his official Twitter handle on Thursday (November 5).

Morgan captioned the post: “Thank you to all of our loyal fans for your support this season. It’s now time to take stock, learn and come back stronger #KKRHaiTaiyaar @KKRiders,”

Noteworthy, KKR finished the IPL 2020 season as the fifth-ranked team on the points table with 14 points from seven matches, while Morgan ended the tournament with 418 runs from 14 matches in the UAE.
