SRH bowled out DC for 131 after piling up 219/2 on the board.
Asked to bat first, SRH piled up a mammoth 219/2 in 20 overs with contributions from Wriddhiman Saha (87 off 45 balls), David Warner (66 off 34 balls) and Manish Pandey (44* off 31 balls).
For the Capitals, Anrich Nortje (1-37) and Ravichandran Ashwin (1-35) took one wicket each.
In reply, DC got bowled out for a mere 131 in 19 overs. It was a listless batting display from the Capitals as none of them in the line-up managed to touch the 40-run mark. Rishabh Pant was the top-scorer with 35-ball 36.
Leg-spinner Rashid Khan once again starred with the ball for Sunrisers, claiming 3 wickets by conceding just 7 runs in his four overs. Sandeep Sharma (2-27), T Natarajan (2-26), Shahbaz Nadeem (1-8) and Vijay Shankar (1-11) also did a great job with the ball.
With this victory, SRH kept their playoffs hopes alive and are currently at the sixth position in the team standings with 10 points.
Cricket experts took to Twitter and lauded Rashid Khan's astonishing bowling performance, which ensured SRH's 88-run victory over DC.
