IPL 2020: WATCH – Imran Tahir shares valuable inputs with Riyan Parag regarding leg-spin bowling

Indian Premier League (IPL) is not only a platform where talent meets opportunity, the tournament also enables the budding cricketers to rub shoulders with the greats and interact with their idols.

Recently, Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) young all-rounder Riyan Parag got a chance to learn the art of leg-spin from Imran Tahir, the South African leggie, who is plying his trade for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2020.

In a video posted by RR on Twitter, Tahir can be seen sharing valuable inputs with Parag. He also taught him things by bowling a variety of deliveries and Riyan tried to replicate the veteran’s advice.

“.@ImranTahirSA taking the time after #CSKvRR to help @ParagRiyan. This is why we love the #Dream11IPL!” RR captioned the video.

While Riyan Parag is known for his batting exploits, he is also a handy leg-break bowler. In the ongoing IPL, he has bowled against KKR and RCB but failed to get a wicket so far.

On the other hand, Imran Tahir got a chance to play his first match for CSK in the IPL 2020 against Mumbai Indians on Friday (October 23). The 41-year-old returned with the figures of 0/22 in his three overs as CSK suffered a crushing 10-wicket defeat at the hands of defending champions.
