Vaughan's comments came after Sunday's doubleheader in the IPL 13.
Former England captain and cricket commentator Michael Vaughan has described India’s T20 competition, the Indian Premier League (IPL) as “the best cricketing spectacle” in the world of cricket after watching enthralling back-to-back super overs in the ongoing 13th edition of the IPL 2020.
Vaughan’s comments came after both games of the doubleheader on Sunday (October 18) were decided after a super over in Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively in the ongoing IPL 13.
In the first game, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) crushed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a thrilling super over clash at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, and then in the evening, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) too defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) after playing two back-to-back super overs at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

Following the entertaining super over finishes on Sunday in the UAE, Vaughan has claimed that there is no comparison of any other T20 league in the world with the IPL, saying India’s T20 league has been the best cricketing spectacle consistently year after year.
However, he put Test cricket all above.
Vaughan wrote on Twitter on Monday (October 19): “Don’t know how but I don’t know any other T20 tournament that has half the drama of the #IPL2020 !!!! Without doubt it’s the best cricketing spectacle consistently year after year ... Apart from Test Cricket ... Thumbs up”
Noteworthy, Delhi Capitals is currently leading the IPL 2020 points table with 14 points from 9 games, losing only 2 games so far in the tournament, followed by Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the chart.
The 37th game of the IPL 2020 will see the battle between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals on Monday at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
