Rahul Tewatia has 222 runs and 6 wickets in the ongoing IPL 2020 for Rajasthan Royals.
Tewatia’s five sixes in an over to Cottrell will be remembered forever in IPL history, while his amazing knock against SRH will also go down as one of the best-planned chases in the tournament. His fielding has been extraordinary and that has gotten him a new fan, who is in awe of his overall performance.
That fan is none other than former India opener Virender Sehwag. Sehwag was in awe of Tewatia’s performance against RCB, as he removed Devdutt Padikkal and then took a splendid catch in the very next ball to send back danger man Virat Kohli.
IPL 2020: 'Singham' Tewatia can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, says Virender Sehwag
Sehwag took to Twitter and posted, “Tewatia kuchh bhi kar sakte hain. Agar Covid vaccine banane ka ek mauka mil gaya, toh jaisa unka time chal raha hai , lagta hai bana denge. What a season for him"
Basically, he said, Tewatia can do anything. If he gets a chance to make a vaccine for COVID, he might even do that as well, given what a time he is having.
