Kohli was taking his fans on a virtual tour of his kit bag when De Villiers dropped in.
The RCB team is placed third on the points table and will face Kings XI Punjab in their next game, also in Sharjah.
Before the match, Virat Kohli gave his and RCB fans a glimpse of what he carries in his kit bag in a video posted by RCB on their official YouTube channel. The RCB captain highlighted every single part of his kit bag used at training as he gave his fans a virtual tour of his prized possession.
Virat Kohli narrated with child-like enthusiasm that he loves the smell of his new kit and packing his bag has a 'calming effect' on him. He also said he gets new gears for almost every tour and makes it a point to get fresh ones for the Indian Premier League. Kohli gave a glimpse of his thigh pads, pads, wrist bands, gloves among other things.

The Indian captain revealed that he has his Test number and not ODI or T20I on his thigh pads. Kohli revealed that he uses close to 10 pairs of gloves, considering the hot and humid conditions in the UAE. Every gear in his kit bag was meticulously packed and arranged into the available space.
Then Kohli unveiled his weapons of choice, his bats, and said he uses three bats for training and showed his the compartments at the back of his kit bag for holding his bats. He also said that he repairs and reuses his bats to avoid going to his first-choice match bats during training.
This is when his fast friend AB de Villiers gatecrashed the video and said that now that he knows Virat has a secret compartment in his kitbag where he kept his bats, he is going to steal one or two.
The video showed the camaraderie between two of the all-time greatest batsmen of the game, who love playing cricket and are helping the RCB franchise rebuild their reputation after the failures of the last few IPL seasons.
