Delhi Capitals responded to a post by Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan wants to know if there is any Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise who would be interested in her son Taimur Ali Khan. She posted a picture of the three-year-old on her Instagram account while playing cricket.
Taimur's grandfather, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was an Indian cricket batsman and also became captain of the Test team at the age of 21. His great-grandfather Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi remains the only cricketer to play Tests for both England and India.
So there's no surprise the kid was seen batting, following his grandfather's footsteps, in the picture shared by Kareena

While the whole country is involved in ongoing IPL 2020, Kareena took the opportunity to ask if Taimur could make it into a franchise? She captioned the picture on Instagram, "Any place in the IPL? I can play too."
Her post received a comment from Delhi Capitals (DC) and they welcomed him into the franchise. "We’d love to see him roar with us. A true Nawab always belongs to the Capital city," wrote the team’s Instagram account.
