Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by five wickets in a dramatic turn of events. Rajasthan was not looking good to win the match after being five down on just 78 runs in 12 overs.
They had Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia, the last recognized pair to do the job. Both the youngsters did an outstanding job as they chased down the target without losing any more wickets. Parag scored 42* and Tewatia added 45*, as they piled up a partnership of 85 runs.

When SRH had scored 158/4 in the first innings, RR mentor Shane Warne was confident that they are going to chase down the target, but former England cricketer Michael Vaughan wasn't sure about it. Vaughan quoted Warne's tweet and said they have no chance.
Funnily, the Englishman had to delete his tweet after RR completed the chase with a ball spare. But Warne had not forgotten the reply by Vaughan. He tagged him and asked what was he saying?
With the win, Rajasthan moved up in the points table on number seven. They have three wins in seven matches and four losses. This was their first win outside Sharjah.
