Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 7 runs after failing to chase in their third consecutive IPL 2020 match. They had MS Dhoni at the crease till the last over but still, it didn't make any difference in the result.

Dhoni scored 47*, but he couldn't finish the innings on the winning side. The heat of the UAE got better of him and it was tough for him to bat with full strength. Even while going for the second run, the 39-year-old was clearly lacking energy.

Pacer S Sreesanth, who has played under Dhoni for India, lauded the CSK captain for batting till the end despite keeping for 20 overs in such tough conditions.

"Hats off to @msdhoni bhai..even in this heat keeping for 20 overs and then running (sprinting for his team) lots n lots of respect..", he wrote on Twitter.

Sreesanth liked the way Dhoni didn't give up despite being not his 100% in the chase. "Now that’s what we call never ever giving up in toughest moments. Giving all in for his team#respect #cricket", he added.

CSK's next match is against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Sunday. Both the teams will be in search of a win after losing three matches out of four games this season.
