Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians both have won just one match in the tournament.
Four times IPL champions, Mumbai Indians (MI) can not be counted out irrespective of their recent performances. They are known for making a strong comeback, and the team strength is good enough to take on any side.
Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) coach Anil Kumble is well aware of the potential MI has. He wants KXIP to bring their best game against a side that is filled with T20 giants. Currently, both MI and KXIP have won just one game in three matches.
"Mumbai is a very strong team, a very settled team, they have been playing almost the same team since the last couple of years, we know their strengths, we have to bring in our A-game," said Anil Kumble.

Punjab has not played any game in Abu Dhabi, and that could go against them considering MI has already played two games here.
Kumble admitted the players will need to adapt to the new conditions quickly. "We need to assess the conditions quickly and adapt. Abu Dhabi is a new venue for us, its a new ground slightly bigger, boundaries are bigger, it's not going to be easy to score sixes like how it was at Sharjah," told Kumble to Cricketnmore.
KXIP has lost two close matches; one against Delhi Capitals and another against Rajasthan Royals. Kumble thinks the team is performing well and consistently. "I am really happy with the way over the last 3 games we have been consistent, so looking forward to that kind of an effort again in Abu Dhabi," he said.
