DELHI CAPITALS (DC)

The Delhi Capitals (DC) are on a roll after winning both their matches in the IPL 2020 so far. They beat Kings XI Punjab in the super over and posted a comprehensive win over Chennai Super Kings as well. Now they face the threat of Sunrisers Hyderabad who is looking for their maiden win in the tournament.

DC openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw have given them good starts, but Dhawan needs to get big innings under his belt, as Shaw did against CSK. Their middle order is very good with Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and Marcus Stoinis all having the significant game time and decent innings behind them.

Their only concern is the form of Shimron Hetmyer and he might be pushed higher up the order to get some more time in the middle. R Ashwin was seen back in nets and he might replace Amit Mishra in the playing XI and partner Akshar Patel, who had an amazing outing against CSK.

DC’s fast bowling unit is very good with Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje leading the way with young Avesh Khan providing good support.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD (SRH)

Sunrisers Hyderabad has shot themselves in the foot as they went for youth over experience in the auction and are now struggling to find one experienced batsman to helm the youngsters in the middle.

IPL 2020: Aakash Chopra bats for Kane Williamson's inclusion as SRH's batting struggles continue

The opening partnership of Warner and Bairstow has the burden of scoring maximum runs for them with Manish Pandey for support in the middle. After that, they have young guns like Abdul Samad, Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma, and Virat Singh to fend for themselves. Maybe that’s why they needed to bring in Mohammad Nabi into the team to bring some experience as well.

However, they somehow need to find a way to fit in Kane Williamson into the mix, as he can shepherd the middle order and bat through the innings on his own, relieving Manish Pandey of a lot of burden.

Bowling-wise, they will hope of Rashid Khan returning to his devastating form sooner and that their fast bowling unit which has looked listless, gets some venom in their deliveries. SRH might look to replace T Natarajan with experienced Siddharth Kaul, as they have Bhuvneshwar for experience and Khaleel for left-arm pace.

Delhi Capitals COC Predicted Playing XIs:

Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer (C), Rishabh Pant (WK), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Akshar Patel, R Ashwin, Anrich Nortje, Avesh Khan

Sunrisers Hyderabad COC Predicted Playing XIs:
