Tewatia is seen asking for praise from former coach Ricky Ponting.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) batsman Rahul Tewatia smashed West Indian fast bowler Sheldon Cottrell for five sixes in an over to turn the match single-handedly. It looked like Rajasthan have no chance after Sanju Samson's dismissal, but Tewatia came good at the right time.
With the kind of start he got, no one was expecting Tewatia to win the match for Rajasthan. He finished with 53 off 31 deliveries after scoring 17 off 23 deliveries at one stage.
RR needed 51 runs to win in the last three overs and Tewatia smashed 30 runs in Cottrell's over, leaving the opposition stunned with his clean hitting. The rest of the job was done by Jofra Archer, who smashed two sixes in the next over of Mohammad Shami and the target was then way within their reach.

An old video of Tewatia is surfacing on social media when he was part of the Delhi Capitals side. In the video, the Haryana cricketer is asking for recognization from his coach Ricky Ponting after taking four catches in the match.
Tewatia's ex-teammate Akshar Patel asked him who asks for the credit like that? To which, he replied we have to fight for our due credit.
Here is the video:
Rajasthan won the match by 4 wickets and with three deliveries left. When Samson was dismissed on 85, KXIP thought they have the game in their hand, but the target of 224 turned out to be 10-15 runs short.
