Mumbai Indians' Director of Cricket Operations Zaheer Khan believes that the defending champions are yet to show the world their very best in the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

However, former Indian pacer is excited about the fact that MI players are adapting very quickly to the conditions in the UAE. He also shared the important message for his players after the four-time IPL champions’ 49 runs win over Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2020.

On Thursday (September 24), the franchise has shared a video on its official Twitter handle wherein Zaheer can be seen addressing each player in the lineup ahead of their next IPL 13 clash against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 28th September.

Zaheer said: “Boult starting with a maiden over and that set a tone for the innings. I think these are things that are coming together and that is what we are talking about.”

He signed off by saying, “The things are just going to happen at the right time for us if you ask me if we have played our best cricket, we have not but what is exciting is that we are adapting very quick and that's the exciting part when I am seeing it.”

Noteworthy, MI has so far played 2 matches in the IPL 2020 and won against the KKR on Wednesday and are currently placed at the second spot in the points table.
