KXIP bowled out RCB for 109 after posting a massive 206/3 on the board.
Asked to bat first, KXIP rode on skipper KL Rahul’s dazzling 132 not out off 69 balls (14 fours and 7 sixes) to pile up a massive 206/3 in 20 overs.
For RCB, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the bowlers amid the carnage, claiming one wicket by conceding 25 runs in his four overs.
In reply, RCB had a disastrous outing as they got bowled out for a paltry 109 in 17 overs. The chase never really took off with the star-studded top five perishing for just 57. Washington Sundar was the top-scorer for the side with 27-ball 30.
It was a collective bowling performance from Kings XI. While the pace duo of Sheldon Cottrell (2/17) and Mohammad Shami (1/14) took three wickets between them, leg-spinners Ravi Bishnoi (3/32) and Murugan Ashwin (3/32) shared six wickets between them.
Cricket experts were mighty impressed with KXIP’s dominant showing against RCB throughout the match.
