The official handle of KXIP uploaded a video on Twitter, in which Agarwal can be seen handing out catches to Rhodes, who is widely regarded as one the greatest fielders in the history of cricket.
"Is that.....is that @mayankcricket coaching @JontyRhodes8?! #SaddaPunjab #Dream11IPL," read the caption on the Tweet.
The video begins with Agarwal holding a bat in one hand and sporting a baseball glove on the other.
"Come on youngster, you are better than that," he says before giving a low catch to Rhodes, who completes it with ease before throwing the ball back.
Agarwal also shared his inputs to Jonty Rhodes on foot movement.
"Come on Jonty. Feet....feet can be better," he said.
The 13th edition of Indian Premier League will be played in UAE from September 19 to November 10. KXIP will open their campaign against Delhi Capitals on September 20 in Dubai.
