IPL 2020: WATCH- David Miller of Rajasthan Royals speaks about his first net session in UAE

He is excited to play in the IPL 13.

South Africa and Rajasthan Royals’ explosive batsman David Miller has on Wednesday (September 2) opened up about his first training session since the March ahead of the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 starting on 19th September in the UAE.

With the tournament less than three weeks away, all players are sweating it out in training sessions to make themselves ready for the biggest T20 extravaganza in the UAE following the Coronavirus-forced break since mid-March, and Miller is no different.

Millier, Royals’ newest signing, had his first net session on 1st September in Dubai and the left-hander was delighted to be back on the pitch after a “frustrating” COVID-19 break since March 2020.

RR has shared the number of pictures of Proteas star having training in the UAE, as well as, a video on its official Twitter handle, where Miller was seen speaking about his first training session with the Rajasthan Royals' family ahead of the IPL 13.

In the video, Miller can be heard saying, “It feels unbelievable to be back training again, we have gone 4-4.5 months without any cricket and it has been really frustrating. It’s good for the mind to be training again and I have been waiting for this for a long time now.”

He added, “The first training session was really fun, obviously really looking forward to the tournament ahead, I have been playing movies in my mind of training for the past four months. First training session with Rajasthan family, great to be them for this season, I hit a few balls so it was great fun.”
