IPL 2020: Mumbai Indians share pictures of their team room inside lavish resort in Abu Dhabi

The defending champions had their first training session on August 28.

Cricket fans are counting days to see their favourite teams and players in action in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League, slated to be held in UAE from September 19 to November 10.

Meanwhile, all the franchises have landed in the desert country and also completed their mandatory six-day quarantine period in the bio-secure bubble.

Keeping the COVID-19 crisis in mind, the teams are having the best possible facilities available in the hotels and resorts for their players.

On Monday (August 31), Mumbai Indians (MI) gave the fans and followers a glimpse of their luxurious resort in Abu Dhabi.

Taking to Instagram, the defending champions shared a number of pictures with the caption: “This is where we bond. This is where #OneFamily moments are made. Presenting our new team room for the upcoming #Dream11IPL season".

In order to make sure that their players have a pleasant time, MI have set-up a number of indoor games inside the resort. Moreover, everything has been arranged keeping in mind the social distancing protocol.

Mumbai Indians embarked on their first training session on Friday (August 28) at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.

Skipper Rohit Sharma was all excited as he headed towards the nets with two bats in hand.

The sixty-game event, for which a detailed itinerary is yet awaited, will be played across venues in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
