Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan is eager to see how recently-retired MS Dhoni goes about his business in the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 to be held from 19 from September – 10 November 2020 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Pathan claimed that Dhoni will be going with “full flow” after relieving the burden of international commitment from his shoulders on August 15 and former all-rounder is excited to watch the legendary cricketer in action in the IPL 2020.

He also issued a warning to all bowlers, claiming they should be wary of the Dhoni threat in the IPL 2020 as the wicketkeeper-batsman will make the most of his opportunity when he comes out to bat for Chennai Super Kings in the tournament.

Pathan said on Star Sports’ show ‘Cricket Connected’, “When it comes to playing in the IPL, I think all the bowlers, even the players who have retired, guys like me as well, they will be very happy not to have to bowl to MS Dhoni because he is going to go with full flow.”

He further added: “I am really looking forward to it, and all the bowlers, be careful. When he plays for CSK, he enjoys that… his best comes out as a batsman as well.”

Last year, Dhoni was the highest run-getter for CSK with 416 runs at a team-high strike rate of 134.63. He has so far played in 190 IPL matches in which he has amassed 4432 runs.
