The IPL 2020 will begin from Sept 19 in the UAE.
The Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is set to begin from September 19 and will be held entirely in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The final of the tournament is slated for November 10.
The IPL tournament has been a platform for many national and international players to make a name for themselves and one of the success stories is that of Afghanistan's Rashid Khan.
He was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for INR 4 crores in IPL 2017 auction and he has been a star for them picking 55 wickets in 46 games.

He will be seen in action for SRH in the IPL 2020, and former speedster Brett Lee is excited to see how the world’s number one leg-spinner will go about his trade in UAE, a place where Rashid has played quite often.
Lee said on Star Sports’ show Cricket Connected: “I'm going to go with Rashid Khan. He's got all the tricks in his bag - a beautiful 'wrong un, great temperament and I think these wickets will definitely suit him in the UAE.”
The Aussie further added, “He knows that country back to front, he has played a lot of cricket there. I think he will really do well over there. He's a wonderful guy as well, so Rashid Khan's my pick.”

Meanwhile, Sanjay Manjrekar, the former Indian cricketer and commentator, has picked Australian star batsman Chris Lynn as his pick to watch out for in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
Manjrekar said on the show: “I like Chris Lynn, you know. There’s a kind of a sledgehammer kind of power that he has in his batting. So, my pick will be Chris Lynn.”
All the franchises will leave for UAE after August 20 and make bio-secure bubbles in the country upon arrival.
