Du Plessis has been with CSK franchise since IPL 2011.
Former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis picked four innings he liked the most by any batter of his IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings. The initiative was started by Matthew Hayden and he got nominated by Suresh Raina.
Faf posted a video on Instagram and shared his picks. "My favorite ipl moments. Thanks @sureshraina3 for the nomination and @haydos359 for the great initiative. There has been way to may @iplt20 moments for @chennaiipl to remember them all. But here is a list of some of them. @djbravo47 @srwatson33 @mhussey393 @mahi7781," he wrote.

His first pick was Raina's 100* against Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2013. The southpaw had scored a hundred off just 53 deliveries and CSK won that match by 15 runs.
Faf added Dwayne Bravo's match-winning knock against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2018 opener in the list. Bravo had won CSK the match out of a tough situation.
Although he couldn't finish, but he did take them close to the target after being 8 down on 118 in a chase of 166 runs. Kedar Jadhav finished the game for them with 7 required in last over and only 1 wicket in hand.
Another innings that Du Plessis loved the most was Shane Watson's hundred against Sunrisers Hyderabad when it mattered the most. Watson scored a ton in the IPL 2018 final to chase down 179 with 9 balls left. Faf, opening with Watson, had got out in fourth over of the chase on just 10 runs.
Last but definitely not the least, Faf stretched the list with the inclusion of MS Dhoni's IPL career-best innings of 84* against RCB last year. Unfortunately, CSK lost the match by 1 run, but it was the Super Kings skipper who kept them alive till the last ball.
With 2 needed off the final delivery, he failed to connect. Earlier in the over, he had scored 24 off 5 deliveries.
