IPL 2020: Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers indulge in a hilarious Twitter exchange

Kohli and de Villiers are the pillars of RCB batting since years now.

There is barely a better sight in world cricket than watching Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers batting in full pomp together. The duo enjoy each other’s company and have a very good mutual understanding while forging a partnership for their IPL franchise – Royal Challengers Bangalore.

In the Indian Premier League, De Villiers and Virat have been batting together since 2011 and have broken quite a few records. The pair have shared two 200-run partnerships in the IPL thus far – most by any batting pair to own such a record in Twenty20 cricket.

With the 13th edition of IPL is around the corner, the dynamic pair on Monday (March 9) indulged in a hilarious Twitter exchange.

De Villiers started the chitchat by tweeting: “@imVkohli what are you to?”

The RCB skipper then took it forward and used cryptic emojis in his reply, which left the fans puzzled.   

The IPL 2020 is scheduled to kickstart on March 29, with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Chennai Super Kings in the tournament opener at the Wankhede Stadium.

RCB will start its campaign against the Kolkata Knight Riders in Bengaluru on March 31.
