Ahead of the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), the Virat Kohli-led franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has unveiled their new logo.

The club said the new logo design which has a lion in it "embodies the bold and fearless attitude" of the side.
Addressing the media on the launch of new visual identity, Sanjeev Churiwala, RCB chairman, said: “The elements in the logo is a commitment to continuously entertain and engage with fans who are the force behind Royal Challengers Bangalore.”
"We believe a change in identity for the club was necessary to effectively live and breathe this vision and celebrate the passion for cricket and playing bold," he added.
Amid the anticipation, RCB on Friday (February 14) revealed their redesigned logo with a caption reading: "THIS IS IT. The moment you've been waiting for. New Decade, New RCB, New Logo! #PlayBold."
Earlier this week, RCB deleted their profile picture from Twitter handle before removing all posts from Instagram account as well.
The club's prominent stars such as captain Kohli, AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal had also posted queries on the changes in social profiles.
