Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) got a savage reply from their wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel for asking a silly question. They wanted to know who would fan prefer to open with Virat Kohli on a 240 runs chase.
"We have to chase a target of 240. Virat has come out at the non-striker's end. Who will you pick to open the batting for us? #PlayBold," Royal Challengers wrote.
RCB had Parthiv and Devdutt Padikkal in the option for the fans. The senior batsman saw the question on Instagram and responded to the post. "Why do you want us to give away 239 runs?", asked Parthiv Patel. The question was valid.
Maybe the RCB social media team doesn't trust their bowlers on the Chinnaswamy track.
