When the deadline of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 trading window closed, fans started sharing their guesses for which players might be brought by franchises in the upcoming auction.

There were some accurate guesses but some were absurd and triggering. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) hinted on Twitter that they are going to release 5 players and that left fans speculating about those five names.

Out of many guesses, the wildest one came from a fan who wrote a close source of him said MS Dhoni, who led CSK to 3 IPL titles, is going to be released. "As per Close Sources, @ChennaiIPL #CSK planning to drop MSD tomorrow! Might be very well his way of saying "Goodbye Chennai"," read the tweet from the fan.

CSK's official Twitter account shut the fan up with a perfect response. "Time to say "Goodbye Close Sources," CSK responded.

Super Kings have released Sam Billings, David Willey, Mohit Sharma, Dhruv Shorey, Chaitanya Bishnoi, while as per reports Scott Kuggeleijn, who was a replacement of injured Lungi Ngidi, is going out too. CSK retained their core despite questions over their age and recent performances which many think may hinder their progress.
