Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise, which is led by Virat Kohli, has made some big changes in their support staff. Desperate for positive outcomes, RCB removed Gary Kirsten and Ashish Nehra from the coaching team. In their place, the RCB management has appointed Mike Hesson as director of cricket with Simon Katich, the former Australia batsman, as the head coach.

Earlier, Nehra and Kirsten were included in the side in 2018 after former New Zeland captain Daniel Vettori was sacked as head coach. RCB didn't get a positive result under the new coaching staff. They finished last in the points table in IPL 2019. They were at sixth position in 2018.

Twitter responded to the new changes in the franchise. Earlier during the IPL 2019, Twitter had trolled Ashish Nehra for his suggestions in the death overs which backfired big time and cost them the game.
