SRH is coming off a win against CSK, while KKR have lost their last four matches.
Sunrisers Hyderabad team have found a new life by beating Chennai Super Kings at home and will definitely look to continue on the winning ways. Their openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow have been the cornerstones of their success so far, but their bowling has let them down, especially the quick bowlers.
But the inclusion of left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has inserted some life in their attack and with Shahbaz Nadeem and Rashid Khan helming the spin attack, Kolkata might need to pull up their socks.
SRH might look to bring in Siddharth Kaul for Sandeep Sharma, for a change and also give Manish Pandey a chance in place of Deepak Hooda. Their bowling needs to find something to keep Andre Russell at bay and come up with a plan to counter him.
Also came under attack was their star spinner Kuldeep Yadav and KKR team management might rest him and bring Cariappa in for him. Also, as a plan to utilize the Hyderabad pitch properly, KKR might employ their newest recruit, the yorker specialist Matt Kelly.
Both the team are stuck at 8 points and need to win to make sure they don’t fall behind the race for playoffs finish.
